IELTS Practice Modules

IELTS Exam Modules:    

IELTS LISTENINGThe candidate is made to listen to Conversation in English for 30 minutes.
Then he is given some simple questions based on that conversation, which have to be answered in 10 minutes. There will be a monologue, a dialogue and a discussion among group of persons.
There are total 40 questions in this module.

Module 2 - Reading :-
The candidate is given some paragraphs to read. Then he has to answer questions based on his reading that he has understood.
IELTS READINGThere are 40 questions and most questions are true, false, yes, no, or short answer type. For General and Academic Tests almost similar pattern of questions are given. Total time for this module is 60 minutes to answer in a given answer sheet.



How to select your IELTS Training Centers


Module 3 - Writing :-
IELTS WRITINGHere, for Academic, the candidate is given some graphs, diagrams, flow charts etc (20 mins). He has to describe that thing completely in words in the form of a paragraph. There will be a statement in addition, for 40 mins,  to write in favour or against it. For General, Task 1 is slightly different. A letter should be written instead of a graph or chart.
Total time for this module is 60 minutes.

This module is the shortest one which is just for 15  minutes.
In part 1, the examiner takes an oral face to face interview.
IELTS SPEAKINGIn part 2, you are given some topic to speak and express yourself in English.
In part 3, examiner asks further questions to make you answer in English and check your sentences. 


Note: Speaking Module may take place before the rest 3 modules, depending on the discretion of the test taking institute.
