It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or a musician.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Some talents are natural gifts of the nature while some are own-made or artificial. Even though, music and sport have some genetic relationships, I tend to support that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.
By sports person, we always do not mean an athletes or a Marathon runner who needs huge energy and strong muscles. Sports can be any gaming activity which gives pleasure to the target audience. Except few sports like weight-lifting in Olympics, major sports-events need average energy. There, techniques and tactics are key to success and practice is the root. I believe, anybody, if otherwise not physically disabled, can be a good sports person with quite regular, persistent and tactical practice with utmost integrity, sincerity and objectivity parallel to goal setting.
Likewise, musicians, who compose or play instruments or sing, are relative to their practice. There may be few exceptions like L.van Beethoven who performed music even after he became deaf. The main essence of music, I think, to understand clearly the musical notes and scale of pitching. Musicians, in general , did not possess any inherent qualities from their mothers' womb, rather the qualities and success come out of strong devotion in music and sinking in the ocean of symphonies and rhythms. Even a person who has unfriendly vocal cord can sing if he is in line of musical notes.
To summarize, talents come out of practice and opportunity. So, in my views, considering few exceptions, every child could be taught sports or music and would be proven better performed.
