Time Management in IELTS Test


In the IELTS examination, time management is an extremely important aspect and so part of your groundwork should spotlight on how you will manage your time in the test. Test takers who do not carry out as well as they had expected often complain that they were unable to finish all sections of the test.
In order to get better your time management, you should develop your general English capability, do lots of sample exams under time limitations, and work on skills that aid your ability to deal with the time pressures of the test. 

You should establish a timetable for reaching your goals. A timetable will assist you to drive yourself to study and to get through sufficient work to reach goals. It takes around 8-10 weeks of time bound study to move up one level. If you are talented it may take less.

Ensure the highest number of hours you can reserve each day to practice English for all four sections of the assessment. Exercise repeatedly and give yourself a reward between. Take at least one day break for rest and forget the test .Take each chance to immerse yourself in English whenever you can. Watch BBC, FOX TV and films, listen to the radio, visit English websites, read books, like Readers Digest and have as many conversations with native English speakers as you can.
