DOs and DON'Ts in IELTS writing
LIELTS writing is not an artwork or calligraphy. It is a time bound topic writing within a stated framework. You can not write at any style or order. Here are some DOs and DONT's those must be remembered while writing.
A. ACADEMIC WRITING:
TASK-1: Test takers will be given one or more statistical (chart, graph, table etc) or alike presentation of information on which they have to write the topic.

TASK-1: Test takers will be given a formal, semi-formal or informal letter which they have to write a complaint, suggestion, invitation etc. to a person or an authority.

COMMON DONT's:
GENERAL NOTE: TRY TO WRITE TASK-2 FIRST, AS IT CONTAINS MORE MARKS AND WILL REQUIRE MORE TIME. OTHERWISE, IT MAY BE APPARENT DANGER.

DOs while WRITINGS:
TASK-1:
- Write at least 150 words as required, an under-worded topic will be penalized for violating the stated criteria.
- Start with a perfect topic sentence so that the examiner feels satisfaction
- Use proper keyword to illustrate the graph, chart or table etc.
- Interpretation of information should be target-reached. The main significant conclusion must be ensured.
- Remember your grammar and lexical resources, use advanced level words with perfect grammar as much as possible
- Be careful about spellings
- Use complex structures of sentence without sacrificing grammar
- Use multiple paragraphs to describe the given task and be sure of all tasks achievement
DOs while WRITINGS:

- Write at least 250 words as required, an under-worded topic will be penalized for violating the primary requirement.
- Think carefully which side you will stand on. Start carefully with a perfect topic sentence whether you agree or disagree the statement
- Remember your grammar and vocabulary, use high-level words with perfect grammatical pattern as much as possible
- Be careful about spellings
- Be rigid to your position, volatile nature or intermediate expression in arguments will be dangerous
- Use complex structures of sentence without sacrificing grammar
- Use multiple paragraphs to describe the given task
- Ensure all tasks achievement

- Close with a proper salutation such as Yours faithfully, Yours sincerely, Best regards etc

- Do Not write less word than required
- Do Not use loose words or poor grammar
- Do Not leave any task requirement
- Do Not use single paragraph
- Do Not use simple structure of sentences (but simple is better than wrong)
- Do Not use wrong spelling
- Do Not write wrong salutation in opening and closing of letters
